“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14
God thinks kids are great, and so do we! At Eternity Church it is our aim to minister to children by means appropriate to their age so they really get to know God, His Word and His Ways.
Fun activities and ministry are provided for children through 6th grade at all services. Depending on their age and abilities, younger children may receive loving care in Precious Steps, or create and discover with the Little Explorers. Elementary-aged children can become involved in ministry to their peers in GodSquad, where they enjoy opportunities to sing, participate in puppet skits and object lessons, learn important Bible verses and compete for cool prizes!
Exciting and impactful happenings during the year include events such as the annual Fall Festival (a fun and safe alternative to Halloween each October 31st), and Adventure Camp, where kids get to enjoy more of God’s creation and the great outdoors!
Perhaps most importantly, the people who minister to children at Eternity Church consider it a privilege and awesome responsibility to be a part of each child’s spiritual, physical and social growth. Knowing we are looked to as “living examples….known and read by all,” we strive to live in such a way that the children will see in us the love, care, compassion, enthusiasm and power of the Lord Jesus Christ!
